Squirrel Eating Trees
13
I noticed a few weeks ago that our Chinkapin oak tree had a lot of damage around the intersection of branches. After some research I learned that the most likely cause was squirrels eating and tearing the bark. If the bark is damaged enough, it can kill the branch or even the entire tree. Make sure to inspect your trees regularly.
