Final Fantasy VII - A Newcomer's Perspective

It's only my third Final Fantasy, but I had to find out: Why all the fuss about FFVII?

Final Fantasy VII is a JRPG developed and published by Square and released in 1997. The Final Fantasy game for the PlayStation, it launched the series into wide international recognition.

I completed FFVII in 2020 and made this video based on a review I wrote soon after finishing the game. I've played several FF games since, so it'll be awhile before my videos catch up with my progress.
