Putting the garden to bed

Trying to be gardeners! I am not a gardener by any means! I don't know how to keep plants alive - I killed a cactus! If you're reading this, leave a little cactus emoji in the comments section🌵
In an effort to continue growing in my homemaking skills and homesteading dreams, I'm trying to learn from books and good 'ole YouTube how to make my garden grow. First up, clearing out weeds from the garden boxes and trying to put the garden to bed, or winterize them.
