Dropping a Baby in the Deep End of the Swimming Pool

What happens when you drop a baby in the deep end of the swimming pool?
Will she sink or will she float?
We have been working with Baby Katie for many months to get her in a safe position where she is comfortable in the water and will not drown. Even so, we watch her closely for any signs of discomfort or distress. She is actually having a lot of fun. Please do not do this with your own children unless you are a trained professional.
