Thou Shalt Prosper by Rabbi Daniel Laffin. Everybody needs a rabbi. He talks about his health. We're not merely employees. We're actually all creators.

Specifically talking about the scenario where you might be an employee, and that might seem a kind of a limiting way to view yourself away from your employer, to view yourself.

I think this is vastly important. No matter what role you play in the economy and given a work scenario, you think of yourself as a creator. The actions that you take, the effort that you provide, and the things that you effectuate have so many ripple effects, positive ripple effects.

Your effort is not just for you to sit in your ass in a seat and get a paycheck. When you do things to help your company, whether you want it yourself or whether you're an employee, there is a ripple effect beyond you. There's the intent, and then there are the tangibles.

There's a visible, and then there's the invisible. But it's helpful to think about those, to understand your value and just going about your day, living in the workforce and participating in the economy.
