Nier Replicant Remaster Announced !! Plus New Nier Game? | Gaming News With Spoons

I’ve been avocating for a while now that Nier needed some sort of Remake to smooth things out or at the very least a remaster. Well we got our wish, as it was announced today during Nier’s 10th aniversary live stream that Nier Replicant is getting a remaster. Though from what I’m reading this seems to be more than just a remaster but, square also isn’t calling it a remake either. Platinum games isn’t directly working on it but it also would appear they are giving input on the project. Either way I’m excited and I hope to hear more. As the Replicant version wasn’t released outside of japan. I’d love to see both versions come together but either way I’m glad we are finally getting the ending that leads into Nier Automata.
