Bicycling Point Defiance Tacoma Washington

The 5-mile outer loop road is closed to vehicle traffic at Point Defiance and is open for pedestrians and bicycles. It allows for a great opportunity to see views that were usually missed in a vehicle. And bicycling without the competition of vehicle traffic is so peaceful and safe. There's lots to see, wildlife, the natural beauty and the man-made structures. Very interesting with lots of history intermingled amongst the old growth forest.
