FORD CROWN VICTORIA NO CRANK CONDITION | NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH (TRANSFER CASE RANGER POSITION)

Starter on the 2004 Ford Crown Victoria literally corroded to pieces, so I had to install a new one. The order was given, and the Parts Cannon was fired. Bad diagnostics at least lead to a good how-to video on replacing the Neutral Safety Switch (Transfer Case Range Position Sensor).
The transfer case range selector sensor (TCRP sensor) detects the position of your shift knob, and prevents the car from starting if the car is not in neutral or park. My hunch was that the problem was along the ground side of the starter circuit (for the solenoid), along which the neutral safety switch (TCRP sensor) is located.
Was this it? Did this FALLY fix the no crank condition on my car?
