Above all else remember. Run. Hide. Fight. The best defense against an active shooter is to not be there in the first place, and if you are, remove yourself from the situation as quickly as possible. If you cannot, hide. If that fails, fight.

Hopefully none of us will ever be in this situation, but if you or your family are, remember to stay calm and react quickly. You will dramatically increase your odds of survival.
