$771 Trillion Is In The Middle Of The Ocean
Undiscovered treasure worth more than $771 trillion lies at the bottom of the oceans. It was discovered in 1872 by the British chemist Edward Sonstadt that there was an unknown treasure on the ocean floor, but mankind has yet to bring it to light. There are around 20 million tonnes of gold there! For every 100 million metric tons of water, only one gram of gold can be found in the depths of the oceans, according to estimates by the US National Oceanic Service. Also, there are undissolved gold pieces on the ocean floor that must be mined because they are hidden in rocks. While our current technology hasn't yet provided a practical way to exploit this massive amount of underwater gold, it hasn't stopped people from trying!
