Recon Marines Conduct Pre-Sniper Course

July 7, 2022 - U.S. Marines with 3d Reconnaissance Battalion, 3d Marine Division fire an M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System and an M40A6 Sniper Rifle during a pre-sniper course on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. The course, a prerequisite to the Scout Sniper Basic Course, is designed to prepare and evaluate Marines in basic sniper fundamentals.
