Cost of a Carnivore Diet

This was a question we were asking during the Carnivore panel at @ketocon . The question started with "Do you think grass finished meat is required to be successful because I cannot afford to buy only grass finished meat?" The entire panel agreed that grass-finished meat is not necessary to get healthy. We also talked a lot about eating a carnivore diet on a budget.

Our family grocery budget is a lot less now eating a carnivore diet than before when we were eating a standard American Diet when we compare things week over week.

In addition, @blackcarnivore made an excellent points that she saves a lot of money not taking over the counter meds daily and prescriptions/medical costs. I personally was taking stool softeners, sleep aids, and ibuprofen daily. Chris was on several prescriptions, daily allergy meds, loads of ibuprofen, and OTC heartburn medication. That doesn't even begin to cover actual medical costs we've now saved. Being healthier saves a lot of money.
