Date Masamune was a feudal lord who based his forces on Aoba Castle. Highly skilled and ambitious, he was feared all over the earth as The Wide-Eyed Dragon" due to his lost eye. Although he used an eyeliner, he was told that he was able to see the invisible, including various types of yokai. Aided by Katakura Kojuro (Shigenaga's father) and Date Shigezane, he conquered the land of Oshu from his base at Yonezawa Castle in Dewa Province in just five years.
