Why He Founded Black Guns Matter

Maj Toure hails from inner-city Philadelphia. He's no stranger to areas embroiled in violence and crime, but instead of calling for more gun control, his message is quite different.

As founder of Black Guns Matter, he informs and educates youth and others about conflict resolution, responsible firearms ownership, their Second Amendment rights, and more — all with the hope that violent crime goes down.

Present at CPAC 2020, he took a few minutes to chat, share more on the motivation behind his work, and discuss what he and his organization are doing to protect the second amendment.
