Gohmert on Coronavirus Response Vote

Congressman Louie Gohmert (TX-01) spoke on the House Floor regarding his vote against the Coronavirus response bill in Congress. He explained that he was not able to read through the thick, 100-page bill in time (15 minutes) to know what was in it. He stated, “This is no way to handle billions and billions of dollars when we are trying to help people; and, we don’t even know whether we will help them or hurt.”
