Age of Revolution - The elites are playing with fire.

The situation in Europe and Russia keeps bringing me back to Feudal times, when feudal lords were constantly at war with one another, causing suffering in pain, hunger and death to the peasants they ruled over. They, the peasants, were not consulted about these affairs, but were worked up emotionally to induce them into participation by their propaganda machines, the aristocratic centers of power in the various courts and the churches.
The current crop of “Elites” in the EU are acting just like the feudal lords of the past. ArnGrimR paints a perfect picture of the grave errors they are committing. They act to benefit their own class and expect the peasants to pay for it, and bear whatever pain is coming to them.
How will the EU populace react to these events?
