Game Over, Bernie Sanders. The End of the Bernie Sanders 2020 Presidential Campaign

In this video I'll make the case for why Super Tuesday marked the end of the road for the Sanders campaign.

To make my case let’s just start by looking at the delegate count… 38% of delegates were awarded yesterday and Joe Biden won a majority of them. The exact total will take days to tabulate, but the bottom-line is that Joe Biden won Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Minnesota, Maine, Massachusetts, and Texas. Bernie Sanders won California, Colorado, Utah, and his home state of Vermont.

This outcome has made it virtually impossible for Bernie Sanders to win a sizable plurality of the delegates and Bernie Sanders needed at least a sizable plurality if he was going to have any shot at winning the Democratic nomination.

The reason Bernie Sanders needs at least a sizable plurality of the delegates is because Joe Biden is clearly the establishment’s 1st choice, which is a big deal because if no candidate has a majority of the delegates on the first ballot of the convention then on the second ballot superdelegates get to vote and pledged delegates get to switch sides, which means superdelegates would break for Biden, as 90% had broken for Hillary Clinton in 2016, and the pledged delegates that went to Pete, Amy, Bloomberg, and potentially Warren would also go to Biden therefore winning Biden the nomination.

Bernie Sanders best hope in my opinion is for Elizabeth Warren and Mike Bloomberg to drop out so it can be a two-man race because with multiple candidates in the race it only makes it more likely that we’ll see a contested convention and with their continued existence it means that even if Joe Biden makes a bunch of gaffes between now and June then those voters could still switch and vote for Bloomberg or Warren, which doesn’t help Bernie Sanders because as I mentioned before he needs at least a massive plurality of delegates going into the convention if he’s going to have any shot at winning the nomination.

And I’ll add that Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders have been running for president for about a year now, which means I don’t think there is much Joe Biden could say at this point that would shock his voters enough to jump ship for Bernie Sanders.

No malarkey: It’s GAME OVER, Bernie Sanders.

Many of Bernie Bros will remain in denial for days, weeks, or perhaps months as they cling to any positive story and try to suppress any negative commentary, but the writing is on the wall.

Moving forward, expect to see more and more big names endorsing Joe Biden (therefore sucking up headlines) followed by the next state to vote where the conjecture surrounding it will suck up even more headlines. The more the mainstream media focuses on endorsements and delegate-math then the harder it will be to pin any attack on Joe Biden long enough to win his supporters over to the so-called revolution.

Bernie Sander’s defeat must feel particularly devastating to his supporters because of just how unexpected it was in the lead-up to Super Tuesday. I’m sure many of you weren’t expecting to wake up to a video from some no-name guy making the case for the end of the Sanders campaign, but here we are. After a strong showing in Iowa, New Hampshire, and Nevada it seemed like Bernie Sanders was destined for victory, but now he’s history.
