Performing on a loan stage with no props Dr. Pettet in an effort to show how acting styles have changed begging with the Elizabethan era to the present which was 1960 when this was produced re-enacts the soliloquy from Hamlet as it might have been performed by Edward Alleyn, David Garrick, John Philip Kamble, Edmund Kean, Sir Henry Irving, Leslie Howard, and Marlon Brando.
