President Joe Biden dismissed talk of a potential recession, ahead of upcoming GDP numbers that many experts anticipate will point to a recession. Also Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen claimed that the United States economy is not in a recession but rather a “period of transition in which growth is slowing.”
