Tying the stone in the sling?

By the way if you want to make a sling, my recommendation is to use a leather pouch with a sewn and braided rim which is connected to the two strings, so that the rockin cup down into the pouch, and the tension of the rock and the pouch in the sling closes the lips and keeps it in from falling out. Woven slings of all kinds are very good also because you can have a bit of a dish to keep the stone in the sling until you’re ready to throw.
