Daily Devotional | John 7:20-29

Welcome to this Daily Bible Study with me as we walk through John 7:20-29 | Daily Bible reading is essential to Christian maturity so let’s look at our daily Bible verse as we do this deep dive Bible study.
What is the passage saying?
-What does this mean for me?
1.) v.19-20 They were trying to kill Jesus & He confronts them
-We should be righteous & bold- darkness and lies will flee
2.) v.21-24 They sought to kill & silence Him for healing on the Sabbath
-we should do well for people on all days
-We should not elevate man's rules over scripture
-We should judge based on wisdom not appearances
3.) v.25-26 The people knew they were trying to kill Him
-We should trust God to defend us/ God delights to reveal lies and hidden things
4.) v.27-29 Their tradition said they would not know where the Messiah came from, Jesus said they did not know where He truly came from
-We should be careful with prophesies, they can often be misinterpreted
