How To Find Your Voice feat. Donovan Darnell ​

About This Episode:
Born and raised in East Tawas Michigan, @Donovan Darnell was a talented athlete with an affinity for hockey. The discipline he brought to sports also carried over into another passion…music. When he was just 16 years old, Donovan knew that music was his path and moved to New York City. Playing piano and writing songs from a very young age, he found himself fortunate to work with some incredible talent in the music industry. Completing high school at the age of seventeen, Donovan released an EP along with accompanying music videos of his original music by the time he was eighteen years old. His newest single “Airplanes or Cars” was released on February 7, 2022 all digital outlets. His new lyric music video of the same title is available now on YouTube. The single was recorded totally analog on tape at the Red Room Sound Studio in Torrington CT and produced by Mick Connolly.

Donovan’s musical style is steeped in pop with a sexy croon vocal. Think Harry Connick Jr. or Michael Bublé with a champagne edge. Model like good looks, great voice and hooky melodies give him the opportunity to stand out from the “usual”. His dedication to creating great musical and visual content is apparent in all he does. Donovan’s mantra is “Action is the true key to making one’s dream a reality.”

Donovan resides in Northwestern Connecticut and is presently working on his live show and touring schedule. Look for new live dates to be added for the Summer of 2022.
