The Ukrainian Armed Forces using US-made HIMARS MLRS struck a detention centre near Elenovka, where Ukrainian servicemen, including Azov fighters, are being held.

Survivors from the strike are interviewed:

About 12 midnight there was a hit to the location where we were. I felt sharp pain in the stomach. Before they evacuated us, I was sitting and waiting for something to happen. There were very few who were not wounded.

- Did you expect such treatment after what the Ukrainian commandment had promised you?

- What did they promise you?

- They said we'd be kept captive and be exchanged gradually.

- Do you know how many of you have died?

- I don't know the exact number, but I suppose a lot.
