Combining Fundamental & Technicals for Profit | Thomas Lee

Thomas Lee, founder of Fundstrat, employs technical analysis along with a fundamental approach. Lee says that markets are good at telling you what is happening, which is why he embraces technical analysis even though he trades fundamentally. While many market analysts like to refer to the current market environment as a "late-cycle" bull market, Lee believes that the current market environment is mid-cycle. He believes the current market environment is telling us that there will be an uptick in GDP growth. While institutional investors have only recently embraced commodities as a legitimate asset class. along which stocks and bonds, he sees a fourth asset class on the horizon. Lee believes digital assets (Cryptocurrencies) will soon become a fourth major asset class and investors should look to allocate 1% to 2% of their portfolios to it. As for the market, he sees another bull wave, which could be substantial, taking the S&P 500 near 4500 in the current bull cycle.
