Cluster of Earthquakes in Southern California -Unconfirmed?

A cluster of earthquakes in Southern California, unconfirmed? Yes, there were 19 total unconfirmed earthquakes from July 21, 2022, through July 27, 2022, with 13 being in Southern California. Five earthquakes were in Baja California and one was in Mexico. This was basically swarms of earthquakes in California or should I say, swarms of unconfirmed earthquakes in California.

What Is An Unconfirmed Earthquake?

Well, we know what an earthquake is, so let's look at some synonyms for the word "Unconfirmed".

Synonyms for Unconfirmed according to Thesaurus.com:

Flimsy, unfounded, groundless, unjustified, unjustifiable, unwarranted, unsupported

Get the picture? It doesn't matter how strong an unconfirmed earthquake is, it's unjustifiable or unwarranted to be an earthquake. In other words, you will never find out why it happened, but it clearly states it's not an earthquake. If it's not an earthquake, it's something else.

There was a confirmed earthquake in Ensenada Baja California that was felt all the way to Carlsbad California and as far east as Mexicali Baja California. I researched the map and there were no other earthquakes that could have generated the response. There were a total of 345 people responded to the earthquake.

Baja California is a high tourist area. Many people RV travel to Baja California. There are many things to do in Baja California.

Baja California is also home to Tiajuana Baja California. I'm sure the Tiajuana earthquake caught many travelers by surprise.

It is very shocking to see the number of unconfirmed earthquakes. The El Centro earthquake really caught me by surprise.
