മോഹൻലാൽ നായകനായി തിയേറ്ററിലെത്താൻ തയാറെടുക്കുന്ന മരയ്ക്കാർ അറബിക്കടലിന്റെ സിംഹം ടീസർ പുറത്തിറങ്ങി.

ഇന്ത്യൻ സിനിമയും മലയാള സിനിമയും ഒരുപോലെ ഉറ്റുനോക്കുന്ന ഒരു ചിത്രമാണ് മരയ്ക്കാർ- അറബിക്കടലിന്റെ സിംഹം. ആദ്യമായി സംവിധായകൻ ഫാസിൽ ഒരു പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രമാകുന്നുവെന്ന പ്രത്യേകതയുണ്ട് ഈ പ്രിയദർശൻ ചിത്രത്തിന്. കുട്ട്യാലി മരയ്ക്കാർ എന്ന കഥാപാത്രമാണ് ഫാസിലിന്.

വൻ താരനിര തന്നെയുണ്ട് ചിത്രത്തിൽ. മോഹൻലാലിൻറെ കുട്ടിക്കാലം മകൻ പ്രണവ് മോഹൻലാൽ അവതരിപ്പിക്കും. നടൻ മുകേഷ് തൻ്റെ അഭിനയ ജീവിതത്തിലെ ചരിത്ര പ്രാധാന്യമുള്ള ആദ്യ വേഷം കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്നു. സിദ്ദിഖ്, നെടുമുടി വേണു എന്നിവരും പ്രധാന വേഷങ്ങളിലെത്തുന്നു.

സുപ്രധാന നായികാ വേഷങ്ങളിൽ കീർത്തി സുരേഷ്, കല്യാണി പ്രിയദർശൻ, മഞ്ജു വാര്യർ തുടങ്ങിയവരാണ്. ആശിർവാദ് സിനിമാസിന്റെ ബാനറിൽ ആൻ്റണി പെരുമ്പാവൂരാണ് നിർമ്മാണം. ഹൈദരാബാദിലെ റാമോജി ഫിലിം സിറ്റിയായിരുന്നു പ്രധാന ലൊക്കേഷൻ.

(Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham is an upcoming project that features Mohanlal, Suniel Shetty, Manju Warrier, Keerthy Suresh, Pranav Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan amongst others in prominent roles.

Directed by Priyadarshan, the film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas and co-produced by Santhosh T Kuruvila, and Dr. Roy CJ. The background score is handled by Rahul Raj, Ankit Suri and Lyell Evans Roeder.

The movie is based on Kunjali Marakkar, the naval chieftains of Zamorins of Calicut state. A sneak peek into the sets of Marakkar was released earlier by Priyadarshan which faithfully portrayed the grandeur.

As promised the makers have unveiled the powerful official teaser and is standing unique for its interesting plot. The film is all set to hit the big screens on 26th March 2020. )
