"Polar Bear" Winter Swimming & Ice Bathing For Orthodox "Theophania" In Donetsk

Today, the entire Orthodox world celebrates the Baptism of the Lord or "Theophania" by "Polar Bear" Winter Swimming & Ice Bathing. In the Donetsk People's Republic, 46 places were prepared for this. We went to one of these places and watched people celebrate this Orthodox holiday. About 1,500 people arrived at our location in Donetsk in the morning in order to plunge into the blessed water and thus wash away all sins. Security was provided by employees of the DPR Ministry of Emergencies and the ambulance crew. No Real Polar Bears showed up happy to say.
