Simple Potato Soup Recipe//Cleaning Motivation//Speed Cleaning

Come on in the kitchen and let's get rolling with dinner. We are cooking one of our favorites today which is a simple but flavorful potato soup. You'll also get a little after dinner cleaning motivation too!

Simple Potato Soup:

6ish pieces of bacon (I use thick cut)
1/2 small onion (diced)
2 Cloves Garlic (diced)
6-8 medium to large potatoes
5 cups more or less of Chicken Broth
3/4 cup Milk or cream

1. Saute bacon pieces in a medium heat pot or instant pot using the saute function. Drain on a papertowel. Reserve 2 TBSP for next step.
2. Saute onion and garlic being careful not to burn.
3. Add in diced potatoes after onions are sweat out.
4. (Optional for thicker soup) Add in 2 TBSP all purpose flour with the potato mixture.
5. Cover mix with chicken broth.
6. Pressure 10 mins on manual or in regular pot cook 30-45 mins or until potatoes are soft.
7. Mash potatoes as much or as little as you prefer.
8. add in 3/4 cup of cream or milk. Add salt and pepper to taste.
