038: Here Comes Fake Conservatism Followed by Real Liberalism

The first action item on Tuesday night's City Council agenda is a proposal to add ANOTHER government employee, which is not included in this year's budget.  The rational behind it is as ludicrous as the proposed new position, and I'll highlight all the reasons why.

However, there may be more to this ridiculous proposal than meets the eye, especially since immediately following that discussion and vote the Council will consider giving $200,000, in taxpayer funds that the City DOES NOT have, to a disreputable developer.
