UEFA Women's Euro 2022: Record crowd expected at Wembley final

England's football fans are gearing up as their team faces Germany in the UEFA Women's Euro 2022 football final on Sunday.
Before the opening match of this Women's Euro, the biggest crowd for a single finals game was 41,301, set when Germany beat Norway in the final in 2013 in Sweden. But the record is likely to be broken again at the Wembley final on July 31.
Women's and girls' football has taken off well in recent years.
But there is still a long way to go before female footballers earn anywhere close to male players – or make a living from the sport outside the top tier.
