Plasencia Alma del Fuego - Cigar Review

"Soul of Fire": that's the translated name of the new release from Plasencia "Alma del Fuego". It's an apt moniker for this vibrant medium to full-bodied cigar. Explains cigar-maker Nestor Andres Plasencia, this new cigar combines the fire from the ground (as in the volcanic soil in which the tobacco is grown) and the fire from the sky (the abundant sunlight that nurtures the plants). Made from aged tobacco from the Ometepe region of Nicaragua with a wrapper from Nicaragua's Jalapa region, the Alma del Fuego has hints of leather, coffee and earth.
