Though there are dozens of steak shops, we narrowed our search down to three:

1. Jim's Steaks - 400 South St, Philadelphia, PA 1914, in their original 1939 locations.

2. Geno's Steaks - 1219 S 9th St, Philadelphia, PA 19147, open 24/7

3. Pat's King of Steaks - 1237 E Passyunk Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19147, the self proclaimed inventor of the sandwich. Also open 24/7

Though each had their own styles that we showcase, Jim's ended up being the winner.
