This is a human fundamental survival instinct to lean towards viewing ourselves as exceptional, this can be a blessing to motivate or a massive curse to cripple our ability to succeed and observe reality around us. We often say someone must win the lottery. Why not me? Yet we must understand the mathematics and probabilities state that we are more likely to make that money buying the lottery ticket versus investing that money in ourselves and what is real around us here and now.
