One of The Funniest Archery Bear Stories

This archery bear story took place up at Courtright Village in the Sierra Nevada's. I am 63 years old and this story happened when I was about 14 years old. My brother had jus gotten back from Vietnam with one tour of duty. He was taken some very needed time off and decided to come up to our cabin and hunt bears. When we got to the Cabin a bear had knocked down a third of the door to our cabin and trashed everything inside. Just as we finished assessing the damage the Fish and Game showed up. They told us that they had caught and relocated this bear three times and it keeps coming back. They told us to dispatch this bear, even if it was with a 22. We decided to hunt this bear from our neighbors cabin, Leroy Hall, and see if we could catch it returning to our cabin. This is where the comedy of errors starts and the uncontrollable laughter begins.
