In this vacation edition of Guitar Discoveries, Robert Cassard plays his Martin LX1e Travel Guitar in the "Taro Patch" Open G tuning (D-G-D-G-B-D). Playing in alternate tunings often inspires interesting new chords. When Robert started playing in Taro Patch, the immediate result was a laid-back Hawaiian vibe and a short, simple instrumental called "Hana Hou," (meaning "Encore" or "One More Time.")
