US Assassinates Top Iranian General

Qassem Soleimani was killed in a US drone strike in Baghdad this morning. The US has now committed an act of war against Iran and seems to be hoping they will not retaliate and risk full scale war, thus looking weak and feckless. This is a very risky strategy to undertake merely to humiliate Iran. All of the worst people in politics are cheering on this assassination. Trump has made his bed, now he must lie in it.
