Step-Parents, Find the Good...

Step-Parents work overtime to find the good in your step-children. It's easy to highlight and find the bad but it takes much more ability to find the good. Your step-children will respect you at the end of the day. You need to be self-aware of what you are not. You need to realize that you don't have that special connection that your biological parent has. The sooner you realize this the better your relationship will be with everyone. It's gonna be worth it.
