Episode 14 - The "Selection" looms large - and Frogner Park!

The most consequential election of our lives is in a few days, or at least that's what they tell you. We at SBH Podcast aren't buying it, and decided whatever is going on at Frogner Park in Oslo is far more interesting. Who would make such an obvious homage to human suffering and child abuse? We still don't know. We have no answers for you. But you should probably take a look at this crazy place anyway.
But if you're interested in the creeps in our current timeline, don't fret. We start the episode with our normal update on some contemporary strangeness.
And if you've read this far, you may as well let us give you some advice you didn't ask for: Take a step back and explore your involvement in this election. Are you fearful about the outcome? Do you find it incredibly "consequential"? Do you really really hope your guy wins, and don't know what you'll do if he loses? That's unhealthy, and you've fallen for the okie-doke.
Instead of giving them your attention and energy and thus empowering the beast, try this instead. Imagine the best case scenario for your future with as much detail as you can manage. Work backwards from that, and consider all of the things that would have to be done in order to make that picture a reality. Work on those things, and only engage with politics for entertainment or novelty.
Or continue to spiral, and hand your power to maniacs. Either way, we love you.
