There was a time around 2009 when the small pickup truck market had nearly crumbled. All the major brands were doing away with the smaller truck in favor of full size sales. Toyota and Nissan held strong and now we have all the majors as players in the ever growing market. Nissan dropped the new Frontier this year. The next Gen Ford Ranger is coming with a Tremor and Raptor variant. Chevrolet has started the Colorado teases with a Trail Boss and ZR2 and Toyota has a new Tacoma set for the 2024 model year.
