037: Council Considers Giving Developer $200,000 of Taxpayer Funds

UPDATED: The Mayor & City Council has postponed a vote to an agreement between the City & a developer that will give $200,000 of M-C taxpayer funds to build a strip center that will likely include a drive-through fast-food franchise like Subway, Burger King or Dominos!

This right after the Mayor & City Council raised our tax rate from the effective rate of just under $0.12 to $0.15 because the City "needed the extra income to better serve its citizens."
