Getting Paraguay Permanent Residency - Preparation

1. Valid Identity Document of the country of origin
2. Consular Visa or On Arrival ; in the case of countries that require it.
3. Birth Certificate, issued by the country of origin or by the diplomatic representation of the country of origin in Paraguay.
4. Valid Police or Criminal Background Certificate
5. Valid Background Certificate for Foreigners, issued by the Computer Department of the National Police of Paraguay.
6. Certificate of Civil Status, issued by the competent authority of the issuing country (Only if applicable) :
Option 1: Marriage Certificate.
Option 2: Divorce Decree.
Option 3: Death Certificate.
7. Valid Life and Residence Certificate, issued by a Jurisdictional Police Station in Paraguay.
8. Health Certificate, issued by a clinical doctor authorized by the Paraguayan Ministry of Health, stating that the applicant is in good physical and mental health and has no infectious-contagious disease.
9. Sworn Declaration of Compliance with Art. 23 of Law 978/96, issued before a Public Notary in Paraguay, which expressly states; Respect and comply with the mandates of the National Constitution, the Laws, Decrees and other legal provisions that govern the territory of the Republic of Paraguay.
10. Demonstration of economic solvency.
11. Valid Interpol Certificate of Background, issued by the Interpol Department of the Paraguayan National Police
