Woman Fights to Prove to IRS She’s Still Alive

The “Inflation Reduction Act of 2022,” brought forth by Senators Chuck Schumer and Joe Manchin, will direct $80 billion to the IRS. Only $3.2 billion will be used for “taxpayer services,” which means fixing the issues that have overtaken the agency, but, according to one woman, the IRS will apparently declare you dead to avoid doing any work. At the beginning of June, the IRS was still sitting on nearly 22 million unprocessed tax returns.
