今年以来，有多部翻拍自国外电影的国产影片公映，其中包括改编自韩国电影《蒙太奇》的《你是凶手》，改编自韩国电影《伟大的愿望》的《小小的愿望》，但从口碑和票房来看，几乎全部折戟。前日，翻拍自2015年印度电影《误杀瞒天记》的国产影片《误杀》全国公映，短短两天时间，该片就收获一片赞美。有观众认为，这部影片保留了原版电影的基本框架，又能在很多细节上创新，是一部很靠谱的翻拍电影，甚至有观众认为，该片可称为是“翻拍国产电影的典范”。《误杀》公映两天，票房接近1.5亿元，成为这周公映的新片中最抢眼的一部。

(After being remade in several Indian languages and Sri Lanka's Sinhala, Mohanlal-starrer Malayalam thriller Drishyam has now caught the imaginations of the Chinese. The Chinese remake of Drishyam—titled Sheep Without A Shepherd—directed by Malaysian Sam Quah, is expected to be released across China on December 20. The Malayalam Drishyam was released on December 19, 2013.

The trailer of the movie, released last month, hints that the Chinese version will be a scene-by-scene remake of the Malayalam movie directed by Jeethu Joseph. Going by the trailer, the audience can expect a power-packed performance from the cast, including Yang Xiao, Zhuo Tan, Joan Chen, Philip Keung, and Paul Chun Pui.)
