Day 179 of Let's Read the Bible - Deuteronomy 26, Proverbs 1, Hosea 2

Today we read about firstfruits and tithes given to the Lord. God continually stressed the importance of following His decrees, laws, and commands. Proverbs begins with Solomon explaining the importance of wisdom and speaks through the eyes of wisdom, rebuking those that do not listen or adhere to wisdom's advice. Hosea explains how Israel seeks out other lovers and God punishes Israel and brings her back to Him.
