US: Houthis Are Not Iranian Proxies

After supporting the Saudi's years long war in Yemen, even going so far as excusing and enabling the massacre of thousands of civilians, the United States has done a complete about face on the original justification for intervening in the Yemeni Civil War. Supposedly, the Houthis were Iranian proxies who, if victorious in the war, would establish an Iranian satellite state. The US has now shredded this justification however. They no longer see the Houthis as Iranian proxies, meaning they now have no official reason to be involved in the war.
