Someone left a comment about my video that Protonmail had a server audit and passed with flying colors. Therefore there must be no risk. And additional comments to that effect.

We will examine what the problem is with people who think they understand the threat and how this analysis doesn't pass the smell test for me. What I'm going to say here applies to many so called security apps, not just Protonmail. I'm trying to teach all to think more deeply. If you don't understand the threat, you may judge incorrectly.
