James is a former Major in the British Army who served with the Royal Tank Regiment in Afghanistan. He has since founded Mission Motorsport - the MoD's competent authority for motor sport as a recovery activity and a Royal Foundation Endeavour Fund initiative. To date, Mission Motorsport has helped nearly 2000 veterans find work through its programs, most recently including the Mission Automotive Initiative.
