Day Hikes in Washington State | Northern State Recreation Area | Frisbee Golf

Northern State Recreational Area. Not necessarily a place to go "Hiking" with dogs. More like walking dogs... This used to be a Mental Hospital/Institution, it was closed in the 70's. Part of it was eventually turn into this park and the old campus was utilized by various agencies like Job Corps and the National Guard. They have also set up a Frisbee golf course up there. Let me know if you have been here ( not as a patient... geeze..) and what you think of the place. It makes for a nice little place to hike.
