This will be a fun phonics lesson for adults to help you learn American English pronunciation. Today we will do lesson 8 in the Level 5 Adult Phonics series. We will learn the double vowel pair OO and its 2 unique sounds. I will teach you how to correctly say the words Book, Cook, Hook, Look, Foot, and Wood in an English accent with the OO vowel pair sound. I will also teach you another sound the double vowel pair OO make. I will teach you how to correctly say the words Moon, Pool, Goose, Spoon, Food, and Zoo in an American English accent with the other double vowel pair OO sound. I just want you to start to notice the patterns for spelling. I want you to focus on reading and pronouncing the sounds correctly. That is the most important part. This is how a native English speaker learns to read and speak. And you can too.
