Welcome to the Sacramento Police Department Air Operations Team. There are four officers and a Sergeant assigned to the unit, flying an approximate combined total of 1400 hours per year. In addition to supporting Sacramento Police Personnel on the ground to keep our community safe; our Air Unit works under a regional air support agreement, to collaborate resources with surrounding Law Enforcement Agencies. We are excited to share this in-depth look at our Air-Ops Unit as #togetherwebuild.
